Why the Couple Chose Olympic National Park for Their Elopement

After sharing more than 10 years of life together, A. & I. believe that celebrating your love isn't a once-in-a-lifetime event. When you're still deeply in love, why not create another beautiful memory in a stunning new location? They specifically chose an elopement format because it offered the most peaceful and relaxed way to celebrate their relationship while focusing entirely on each other and the meaningful vows they wanted to share.

Since the couple calls Seattle home, the magnificent Olympic National Park was a natural choice for their ceremony. This location offers several practical advantages: no advance reservations are required for small ceremonies, it's conveniently accessible from Seattle, and perhaps most importantly, the sunset photography opportunities are absolutely breathtaking. It truly is the ideal setting to celebrate authentic love!

Olympic National Park Elopement Timeline

We began the day with an outdoor getting-ready session (the warm July weather was perfect for this). Their hair and makeup artist worked her magic right there in nature. She started with I., and while she was styling A., I. and I took a quiet moment at the beach where she sat beneath the majestic Tree of Life to write her heartfelt vows.

Once A. was ready, we made our way to Ruby Beach to catch the golden sunset light. The couple exchanged their personal vows in this stunning setting, followed by a celebration at a luxury picnic that had been professionally arranged by a local vendor. After enjoying their picnic, we captured romantic photos during sunset and continued shooting after dark using flashlights and string lights to create a magical atmosphere. When night had fully fallen, we returned to their picnic spot, now transformed by dozens of glowing candles, where the ladies continued their intimate celebration.

I'm incredibly grateful to A. & I. for inviting me to document such a meaningful chapter in their love story. Their decision to honor their decade together with this intimate celebration perfectly illustrates that beautiful moments deserve recognition at any stage of a relationship. From the breathtaking sunset at Ruby Beach to their touching vows beneath the Tree of Life and their romantic candlelit evening, every moment radiated with genuine love. It was truly my privilege to capture the connection between these two wonderful people. Thank you for entrusting me with your special day and for showing that love always deserves to be celebrated!
